Mindset Again?

Everyone who gets into medical school is smart. They've already had years of education by that time so there is no question about their intelligence, but everyone who goes to medical school doesn't complete it. Also, some of those who finish don't make good doctors.

It's much the same with any endeavor whether you're a businessperson, a coach, an athlete, a parent, a shoe-salesman, or whatever. Some have great talent and skill, but they don't have the mentality, the focus, or the attention to detail they need.

When people are process oriented and decide "this is what I want, and this is what I need to do to have it", and they have the discipline to do it, then you get someone who is "talented" and successful.
